West Ham will not be renewing Sam Allardyce's contract
West Ham United will not be renewing the contract of Sam Allardyce. The club and the manager mutually decided
to end contract negotiations in January and that Allardyce would be free to find a new
job after the end of the season. We would like to take this time to thank Sam for his
service to the club and we wish him every success in his future endeavours. Coach Stephen Gibbs will take temporary
charge of the club until a new manager is appointed.
