What about an FM-Base Newspaper?

Tried sending messages to the mods but none replied,so making a thread about this idea may help.What about an FM-Base newspaper on this site.Not the normal one like you pick off a bus seat or a train seat and just read the whole journey,but if there were people on this site assigned to certain roles of the newspaper that generally gave news about the site,not football like the Guardian or BBC News.If something occurred on this site that is not football-related,then the newspaper could be used to promote it.

Example?

Help for Haiti/Chile,the British elections,the release of a dangerous terrorist.. etc. etc.

or something like that

Basically,what I'm trying to get at is that the site could have a newspaper that would generally give news,rather than new threads popping up about certain things.An index could be introduced to lay it out properly as well.

If any of you have ideas that are better or that would contribute to this,please feel free to post.

Please don't post anything stupid or that involves bad language.

I suppose it's an alright idea, but the main aim of the site is for FM and probably not for every day general news.

Plus you'd need to find people who don't have grudges against people etc who aren't argumentative which is hard to find on here. I say this because most threads might turn into arguments.

Not a bad idea though, I'd be interested in it.

Yeah I know,but it would give people something to read,in general and sometimes see if something they've seen on the news has come up on FM Base instead of creating a new thread entirely.

problem is if you did it everyday thats a big commitment mate,
 
A decent idea mate.

One problem is this is a forum and general news isn't really the purpose being a Football Manager site. :) It would be a good idea but I don't think it would link in too well and as Max said, arguments will break out.

Nice idea, I'm interested though. :D
 
Also, if anyone is going to do it they need to have some decent grammar etc, like caps blah blah so it looks a bit more formal.
 
By the way, if it does go ahead, count me in. I love writing. :D

Yeah,I'm not that kind of person,but if we could find the right person(s) then we could have a good one.

True,true,but infractions can be induced by,err,I dunno,Redders? (example) and other mods.

The rules would be set out straight and strictly.If anyone stood out of line with them,then,they should expect a ban slap.
 
Any mods can hand out infractions in any section so that's not a problem, but it's better to avoid the agro of arguments.

What would you generally bring to the table if you were to become a columnist on the paper? (Lol)

Just sounds like a blog to me.
 
i would offer in depth reports on all the sporty things. i know a lot about sport in reply to the columnist things
