Hi all,

Being an avid West Ham fan, all I really want to do is manage and do well with West Ham. But i keep having dreadful seasons and eventually get the sack. I cannot seem to move away from a standard 442 formation because i find that nothing else works. I have setup custom training schedules to get the best out of players in their unique positions.

I'm not sure if it is simply the fact that west ham are not that fantastic of a team or i am just not that fantastic of a manager. lol. I'm not sure how in depth i really need to be with the game. I dont really take much notice of closing individuals down and showing people on to their wrong foot, etc as i feel that this does not work, it just drags players out of position.

Can anyone give ANY advice, i would appreciate anything to help me improve.

Thanks.

look at the squad you have, look at all the details. Then, find a formation that fits your team, and use it. Make sure you have covered every weakness in the transfer market. The main thing to do is......LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES.
Reccomended stuff -
Dan's Training Schedules - HERE
StuW's 4-5-1 Dominant gol - HERE This is my tactic, and I have had success with it.

Try different players, and tactics in pre-season.

One more thing, I use the classic team instructions rather than the new one as i feel they are more precise, would you recommend not using this or does it make no difference.
