What do you most like about Football Manager?

- is it the day to day aspects of running a club?

- the tactics, formations and strategies and the challenge of outsmarting an oppenent

- the great feeling when you unearth a gem?

- the great satisfaction of winning a trophy

- making a small club legendary


Personally I enjoy every part of the game.
 
How real the game is (most of the time) but the best bit is taking my local team to European glory!!
 
Mostly the players part (finding a gem and then thinking how well will he do in real life if he would be in that clab).
 
the only thing I hate in FM is its limited license
 
Im new to this game, been playing it since 2011. I only completed 3 seasons, but i guess i like the end of season stisfaction when you have done well. I love the game, i want to take my club that im managing all the way from tier 9 to prem champions.

Think the best thing is anything positive. Could be from winning, a star player extending contract-anything positive really.

In my last season, i was predicted bottom, but finished 2nd. Only 1 team went up, so i was like so happy i over-achieved but so gutted that i didnt go up.
 
I love it when your 2-0 down, then your team pulls it back to 4-2 at the last twenty minute. I've deleted the save now but I think it was Chelsea vs Bayern Munich. It was a few months ago but it was sweet.
I like the realism and feeling like your the manager. I love it.

I like getting my tactics right. Takes some doing but it tests me.
 
been playing for 15 years now so theres gotta be something keeping me hooked :) its just a really thorough game and really takes you into the dark, money grabbing, power hungry, results driven cut and thrust world of football management :D

its just ****** good fun i suppose.
 
Making a decent team into a European powerhouse. Also, developing young talents into superstars
 
The part I like the most is also the part I bleedin hate the most... The game never ends!
 
I like the manager part, where you build a team, make suitable tactics for it and takes your team to the top. Also having your young players slowly getting into the team and at some point being a regular starter.
I´m not really that found of the matches itself, other than that I love every bit.
 
I love winning the Premiership with Liverpool, Serie A with Parma but most of all taking over United and getting them relegated to the Blue Square Premier :D

Haha, the realism is great. And it gets better every year. I remember trying Championship manager 2010 and thinking oh dear.....Football Manager is simply the best game at what it does. I think it was with FM09 that you got a copy of NHL East Side manager, that was awesome as well. loved it.....I wish they'd do some kind of managing game for Wrestling or Boxing
 
i love how ridiculously emotional i get when scoring important goals :)
