What former player would you like to see become a manager

Gerrard would be a good manager when he retires

Ian Rush, a better John Barnes, Molby, Carra when he retires, King Kenny should make a return.

If ypu were a good player your not nessecarily going to be a good manager.
Look at Barnes

Then Mourinho he was a sh**e player but great manager.

no one is disputing tht irish scouser, this is just a bit of fun of who would you like to see a manager, not neccessary who you would be a top manager

Definitely Davor Suker. The man was a genius on the pitch, tactically aware, and simply had harsh treatment in England (shame on you Arsenal, West Ham) at the end of an extroadinary career. (Golden Boot World Cup 98 when up against Ronaldo, Trezeguet, Totti at their prime anyone?)

Zidane would be a mint manager Referee send him to the stand he will nut them

Henrik Larsson, his playercareer ended today in the Swedish premierleague Allsvenskan. He has said many times this year that he wants to be a manager and I think he would be a good coach. He has a good leadership, lots of experience and played for big clubs like Celtic, Barcelona and Man U.

would love to see alan shearer or gary speed manage toon one day as a full time manager

well, I agree that Cantona's press conferences would be fantastic, just as Maradona's ones :p
Well, maybe Figo, Rui Costa, Zidane, Bergkamp and maybe Beckham (when he retires)
