What happened To the Bison?

I really don't get why Essien has such bad stats in Fm. I know he has been injured for a long time but still he has such bad stats i really don't get that. I'm not even a Chelsea supporter.

Essien deserves a lot better he is one of the best dm's in the world in my opinion.

I know, I got him for Dortmund at the start of my second season for 1.9m! and although hes injury prone I rotate him a fair bit and he hasnt picked up an injury so far and is awsome
