What Happens to the Chairman

Just wondering about Mohamed Al-Fayed he is 78 years old I wonder does someone buy the club or does someone take over from him or does he just carry on I know players, staff and managers retire but I never remember seeing a messege saying such and such chairman has retired and handed the club over to such and such director.

No offence to Fulham fans couldnt think of any other chairman to use

I dont know about that but would be interested to find out.
also does anyone know if a chairman can sell one club and buy another? or do they just sell up and leave the football scene forever?

If I recall correctly, in my FM10 Fulham save he sold the club after about five years. I was also in some financial trouble, don't know if that affected it.
