I've just finished my first season as the mighty Whitehawk in the Scrill South League and am heading into the new season, looking for new players to sign. Most seem to want a non-contract which I am happily offering them however I just realized that I don't actually know what this is.

Is someone able to explain to me what a non-contract is?

I think it is similar to a pay as you play sort of thing. Instead of a weekly wage the guy will get an appearance fee for every game he plays. Beware though because other teams can just come in and take your best players without giving you a transfer fee or compensation. They can offer them a contract anytime. Maybe put your best players on a full time contract if you can.
