on my milan save i got javier pastore for €12m but i had to give simone verdi away and 50percent of any future transfer fee away, please feel free to list yours!!

About to wrap up the same transfer, same year and same patch! Just got Ibrahimovic for £500K, although he is 34 his stats are still pretty good. I'm Hearts btw.

My best bargain was Crouch £2.5million in my second season for Newcastle (He wasn't being used by Spurs, they had bought Forlan and Landon Donavon, plus the players they already have)

Cant really claim that as bargain as you never brought them lol.

Mine was Adilson Ben David Santos for free with my BSP team. Scored 25 goals in first season, second behin my other striker Ngo Baheng who scored 37. Providing his age and ever decreasing stats, thats a prietty remarkable return.
 
On my liverpool save, i got sergio asenjo (free) frist season, sergio busquets (free), Edin dzeko (free), wolcott (free) worth 7mill at the time, and Deigo costa (AT. Madrid) for £0 lol they had him on the transfer list for £0, top class player at 24 years old i think it was

Its all about the January contract Expiring transfer window!

i was blackburn patch 11.2 end of season 1 bought oscar cardozo 8.75 mill

also for blackburn i got charlie adam on a free same time same patch has been brilliant
 
In FM 2010, my best bargain was during second season with Real Madrid, I got Drogba for 7 mil €.

In FM 2011? Not really sure, all were pretty good, maybe not all bargains...
 
Don't know if I can call it a bargain yet, but in January 2015 I got Lampard on a free, he's 36 now. First two games played, two winning goals by him, lol. In the third one he was **** tho.

I'm Woking and I'm in the Championship now after four back to back promotions from the Conference South.
 
Ivica Olic - 3rd season for free. he scores like mad 4 me. 42 goals in 42 games in his 1. season, in his second now he is at 24goals in 20 games.

What club are you and what role do you play him in?
 
Around 2015 or something, got Steve Mandanda on free for my HJK side, he is still in my all-time starting XI in year 2033 and he played for around 6 years. Also got Alou Diarra and Kaká on free, both were brilliant.

Yeah, Alou Diarra is pretty awesome in FM 2011... Even in 5th-6th season
