What makes a good football manager story?

As the question says, What makes a good football story, what is it you want to see which makes you interested as i'm a complete newbie when it comes to this and i'm thinking about doing a story, but i just want to hear you opinions on what makes it interested for you.

I like to read about the tactical decisions. What evaluation do you make of your squad, and what tactic will you use to get the most out of your players? What decisions do you make in the transfer window, etc.?
