And how meny leagues do you play at same time and what size DB do you use

I myself play on a sony vaio F series 8g ram intel i7 2.10 330m gt 1Gig and i run 8-10 leagues most time holland scotland england spain italy portugal russia greese turkey france

Only thing you could upgrade in a laptop would be the RAM, 2gb is pretty low.

I've been using tuneup utilities, but dunno if that's as good as doing the compaq defrag, i just never seem to have time :/

will only increade the speed of your laptop if you are using up the 2GB

I normally play with 18 or more leagues, and it run great, even with graphic megapacks and other stuff! (H)

I have OCD about not selecting 'Large' DB, fearing I'll miss out on players, so always Large DB, then I adjust number of leagues based on current computer performance.

For example currently got a Quad Core processor, 2gb RAM (adding my other 2gb makes my computer ill ), Windows 7, nVidia 8600GT and on FM10 I ran 6/7 countries with no noticable lag.

Probably going to run Eng, Esp, Ita, Ger, Ned, Fra, perhaps Bra/ Arg for regens. Depends if I plan on establishing myself in England as work permits will see that I don't sign any regens from there anyway
