Target Man Attack/Support.

Personally I'd play him support and ball to head if Rooney is his partner.

Target Man Attack works an absolute treat if he is playing up front on his own.

If you're playing defensive, Target Man on Support.

If attacking, or possession controlling, Advanced Forward/Target Man on Attack.

Target Man - Attack.

I don't ever play strikers on support. Defeats the point :p
