My stiker has gone over 1000 minutes without scoring and i was just wondering if anybody had any advice on how to deal with this

Use "you have faith" at the start of matches, and at half time. Maybe arrange a midweek friendly against a rubbish team, start your back up players (so your first XI don't get tired for the next game) and hopefully he'll score a few, boosting his morale.

You could change his player instructions ie if he has roam from position set to yes, set it to no (or vice versa) or change his wide play. Just until he starts scoring again.

This will obviously effect your tactics though.

thanks very helpful i arranged a friendly against a rubbish team and he scored 2 so all is good

have a look at his footedness and how you are asking him to move - you may be inadvertantly making him use his **** foot. There are so many things that could be happening. Who is it and how are you playing - lets dig a little deeper.

Another quick fix might be if you're asking him to hold up the ball, it might stop him taking his chances. I also try to train my strikers to round the keeper when one on one btw - helps with all them stupid CCC's they just hit straight at the keeper.

Its Leon Best for Milwall i play short possession football. Yh i think i will say don't hold up ball and will train him to go round the keeper when one on one
