No, but that's not cycling is it. That's a 100 metre sprint. The rules are different, the circumstances are different, the etiquette is different. EVERYTHING is different.

i dont follow cycling but either what he did is not in the rules so he had every right to go on and win the race or it is in the rules and he should have been disqualified. I think it is the first meaning that he acted unsportsmanlike but had every right to do it.

I don't think you understand. Cycling has a code of conduct, an unwritten rulebook that is just as respected, more so in fact, than the official ones. He broke the laws of etiquette, and that's worse than losing in most cyclist's eyes. Thus, he was vilified in the press, and rightly so.

Wasn't the technical problem Schleck's fault? It seemed to me that in his effort to distance Contador he tried to change into too big a gear, and the chain came off.

Also, Contador wasn't paying attention when Schleck attacked. If you watch the replays, both him and Vino are gaining on Schleck before his technical malfunction, so there's no proof Schleck would have gained much, if any, time on Contador.

Agree with Dunc, this is a **** thread if you cant debate, i disagree with a lot of names on here, but oh well

Sport- Golf- so boring, i do watch the ryder cup because it can get quite competitive, but i dont see how people can watch it all day

Arsene Wenger- ******* about everything
Ashley Cole- Biggest ****** alive, i read his biography, he said " i was driving home, and i recieved a call from Arsenal, they offered me a new 4 year deal worth 80k a week, i almost crashed my car, how **** is that deal"

Tony Pulis- a moaner, and he likes **** football, ruins the game.
Roy Keane- A complete thug as a player despite being so good, ruined alfie inge haalands career, and hes a mong of a manager aswell
Wayne Rooney- How he can play so **** in the world cup, then insult the fans, is beyond me
Nicolas Anelka- Embarassed his country at the world cup, and hes just a troublemaker wherever he goes, over rated player aswell
Cristiano Ronaldo- Cocky cheating git, do admire his ability though

A quick note on these 3. It wasn't just Rooney who played **** in the world cup, and for him, I wouldn't be worried about insulting the fans, I would just be annoyed with myself. He has nothing to prove to the fans.

Anelka, from what I have read it was not his fault, Dominech seemed a **** and Anelka stood up for what he believed in. Nothing wrong with that.

Ronaldo, well he is one of the greatest players of this generation, he is allowed to be cocky.
