What to do with £80 mil?

Hi all

I started with Leeds, got them promoted to PL then after a few of season was offered a job with Portsmouth. I took this job, about 4 season ago I think... I have made them a top 4 club in the last three seasons. Recently a Czech tycoon bought out the club and has injected masses amount of money!! woohoo... I have been given a transfer kitty for the season ahead of £80m

What would you all do with £80m ? I know this varys on each squad, I have my ideas how to use it.. but I'm interested to hear yours! Should I buy 1/2 massive players, or a few small ones?

The board have set minimum expectation to win the league this year! Pressure on.. feel like mark hughes a bit

I would always prefer to buy 2 star players when you already have a good team.

I assume that since you finished in top four last season that you already have a good squad so I would invest that money in fantastic players.

Hmm..Well what do you need?
If i were you, i wouldnt blow it all on the amazing players that will cost over £50m - ronaldo, messi, fabregas, kaka etc. I would but lots of very good players. If you want strikers, go for benzema (if youre playing normal 09 without new updates) you can buy him for £20-30,which is pretty reasonable considering. Aguero is also quality, and then theyres the wonderkids - marquinhos, Alexis sanchez, guilherme.
If you want wingers, theres mata, nani,guardado availbable for not much more than £20m, and then Silva for around £30, who is pretty amazing. Midfield, Veloso and Moutinho are amazing, both from around £15m. Defenders, Albiol, insua, david luiz and fazio especially are my faves, and all reasonably cheap. If you want to buy another Gk, but asenjo. Is very good at 19, and will become the best GK in world, well he did for me...good luck!

You're utleast 6 seasons into the game so go for players that are wonderkids at the beginning of the game or look for regens

yeh 6 seasons in the best thing to do is scout and see wat the talent is.. bout six seasons in players like andy caroll are real stars. soo its worth looking at the guys who will be peaking.

Some world class players wouldnt go a miss with 80 million like might tip you over the edge towrads Champs League winners etc...
