I tried a game with standard and I did a 4-3-1-2 with three center mids 1 attacking mid and two up front

nope i didnt go long enough in the game but it suited the players that standard have got

I Mainly use a classic 4-4-2.

Well you really need to dish out some of the players there :O

Your goalie is TALL, but not good, Marcos isn't very good either, and the centrebacks should be improved, as for the midfield, drop Goreux and Dacourt, use pocognoli as left back, believe it, sell collet, sell dalmat also, your strikers are pretty decent, I still have Mbokani too and he scores sometimes, but not too often.

In CB use Vitor Ramos as he has a lot of potential, Felipe ain't bad, keep 1 or 2 seasons then sell, If you having trouble try to buy Toby Alderweireld from Ajax, I paid him in 48 months, after I had a sucessfull season the board gave me 45 million euros of transfer budget !
