So I got a good youngster from last year's selection. He is technically gifted, but lacks the speed required in the Premier League (we got promoted).

I even gave him plenty of Championship matches throughout the season, and he was quite good. I consider him and train him as DLF (S). He spent a lot of time training Finishing but had poor results. On the other hand, as shown in the image, he 'naturally' improves his positioning and tackling.
So the question is, should I continue to train him as a striker?
Otherwise, because we're using a 4-4-2 formation, I'll have to retrain him as a CM (Att).
PS - As a newly promoted club, I expect it to be difficult to find decent Premier League players; would you continue to give him matches in the top flight?
