Could not seem to find a thread where forgotten faces were listed so though I would make one, whether they have fallen down the leagues into the nether reaches of Eastern Europe or just out of a club at the minute whatever their situation. Looking for familiar faces of yesteryear, players who lost their way but still had talent, along with famous faces who branched out and are difficult to track down.
Heres the model for when you find one of those forgotten faces:

Name:
Age:
Nationality:
Leagues Loaded:

Here is a few I tracked down on a simple huge database with England and Spain loaded as playable:
Pascal Cygan
Rivaldo
Denilson
Sylvinho
Emerson
Maresca
Stefano Fiore
Kily Gonzalez
Diego Placente
Julio Cruz
Hernan Crespo
Claudio Lopez

Joesph Desire Job
Geremi

Francisco Pavon
Andres Oper
Joonas Kolkka
Jonaton Johansson
Steve Marlet
Oliver Neuville
Carlos Ruiz
Alvaro Recoba

Great find, dragged Deportivo along for years on his own back

Can I just say a lot of th players on your list are just getting old and closer to their retirement age, and have been really successful, so I wouldn't say players like Slyvinho, Crespo, Emerson have been forgotten or dropped down, they have had really successful careers and are just winding down now and getting ready to retire.

A little off topic but do you remember Sonny Anderson or Sunday Oliseh? These guys were meant to be the next big thing but it never materialised!

Has anyone found Sherman Cardenas yet? - FM legend.

They are bonified legends I think mate...
Thats why I included them, looking for legends or wasted talents from the FM database and its many varieties. From Jardel to Crespo they're both players I would want to find ;)

Believe it or not hes ringing some bells, think he had 2 big trials lined up in Europe in 2007 when he was like 17/18 and he blew them both. Wenger trialled him for 1 week and the kid just showed no desire to show them what he had because he had bags of raw talent and potential. Think the other trials he flopped at was Sevilla/Ajax. Some kids are unbelievable, I mean we try to develop them on the game but if they just cant be bothered in real life it just makes our amazing work look unrealistic XD Kids these days are all about 'me me me' maybe they should start thinking of us for a change.

Ouch not sure my macbook pro could take all leagues loaded. This guy was probably one of my most favorite players on the FM series. I think he was a wonderkid on FM2007?!

I would seriously scout him my friend. Cheap.

I just took a look at Morris myself, hes still a fairly quality championship player

But yeah next gazza, slight exaggeration there

Oliseh turned out to be a legend of the African game, he didn't really fail. He's retired and doing commentary now. His son is in the game.

Great find, I've actually been searching for him earlier heard alot of talk of his potential in his early years

Believe me, its not an exaggeration, he had the talent and he wasted it. He ruined it for himself. I've heard from people that played against Morris while he was at Chelsea that he was genuinely world-class, and this was at 17.

Cads became a journeyman in RL... shame really, even when we had him at Huddersfield you could see he had class - he chose to reject the new deal we offered and ended up in Scotland at Dundee Utd (although he's still there in the game I do believe he's a free agent in RL again)

Sherman Cardenas is still at the club he started at - Bucaramanga
currently in Colombia's second division but he has been on loan to Colombian first division teams
- Not exactly the career we thought he'd have when we bought FM07

Guess thats just the kind of 'scouting' his scouts must do at Huddersfield I suppose.... ;)
