What's going wrong?

Okay, every time I play FM, when i got say 2/3 goals up I always leak goals and get dominated in the last part of the game. I'm currently using a tactic I found on this site and they same things happen. What can I do to stay strong in attack while staying solid in defence. I feel I've tried everything.

I'm currently managing Arsenal and the tactic I'm using, if this helps, is "All Cups, Worlds Top Goalscorer and Ballon D'or"

Its very rarely that you can find a tactic that will work with all teams always.

Imho its better to try and understand what the various tactical options do and try to play "reactively"

They say the best form of defence is attack i usually do the touchline instruction 'retain possession' the teams main focus is keeping the ball and the other team cant score if they don't have the ball
