Hi guys, long term lurker here but posting for the first time!
I've used tons of the tactics off these forums, some of which have brought me great success and some which haven't.
Anyway...

I've made this thread to find out what 'the 4231 user's' favourite 4231 tactic is, since theres so many different ones on here. (and also to get some advice from you!)

I'm in my second season on my schalke save, winning the league and the german cup the first time around (unfortunately getting knocked out of the CL in the semi's to Galatasary).
Throughout that first season, I mainly used 'The Feevah origins', which worked an absolute treat. I beat barca in the first knockout round, both dortmund and bayern in the league and had loads of other good results. If this wasn't working I would resort to using 'Steatons invincible 4231'. I had a few upsets (namely the galatasary one but also sometimes against smaller teams) but overall it was a pretty good season.

This second season, I've improved my squad greatly (in theory anyway). Below is my best starting 11 now just about.

However this season I've had some trouble. The tactics I used before seem nowhere near as effective despite me having changed very little, I resorted to trying out loads of different tactics such as 'Supremacy','Gegenpressing' and a 4411 uploaded by the guy who has an awesome southampton save. Obviously I gave them some time to become familiar yet still I'm not seeing the great results I was used to first time around, I am second in the league at the moment but I've had a fairly easy run in. Mostly the score lines aren't that convincing and I'm not seeing an awful lot of CCC's.

I can't write this in the original post for some reason, but I'd like to know what your favourite or most effective 4231 tactic is whether you've made it for downloaded it off here, thanks!
Also my team is as follows
Volland
Draxler,Meyer,Lamela
Bender.L, Neustadter/Goretzka
Santon,N'koulou,Kirchoff,Morena
Zieler

Cheers!

Currently rolling with FC K?ln, and after soon 3 seasons I think I've finally found the perfect, at least most entertaining 4-2-3-1.

Horn

Van Rhijn - Vidic - Rojo - Rekik

Jajalo - Gerhardt

Vadillo - Stanciu - Younes

Sigporsson

Stanciu is the spider in the web and is currently the top-assistmaker in the league, a very important key for my tactic. Gerhardt is the defensive anchor and playmaker, a little bit like Busquets in Barcelona.
Jajalo is brilliant as a box-to-box-midfielder, Rojo is the playmaking defender and my wingbacks have "Automatically" mentality so that they go up and down in the wing, while also providing back-up for the midfield.
Horn is horn, amazing.

Could you post a screenshot of your tactic please so I could have a look? cheers mate!

It does kind of annoy me how one season a tactic tears the league up yet next season its nowhere near as good :(

I'm at school atm but I will do it as soon as I get back home :)

I think that the key is to sometimes adjust the tactic a bit, keep deveolping it. That way, the CPU doesn't "get used" and understands it.

I'm in the process of trying that 4-4-1-1, but I've had some quite dodgy results with the gegenpressing, some matches it seems to seemingly create nothing yet leave me open at the back. Cheers for the reply though.
This is my starting line up, so any feedback/help would be appreciated.

Maybe mine will fit als a good 4-2-3-1. It's the 3.2 version in the 'FdB 4-3-3' thread.
