Not being too into the game, I bought FM05. Lots of numbers. Firstw ith a guide picked the most important player numbers and with time getting a little bit of wisdom. Several abandonments of the game.

So first I start well and soon begin to lose everything. Why every game I start I'm first then go down?.

So first sweet moment is when having learned a bit more I managed to have a consistant season, with the logical up and downs but not the faint. Then due to not enough good knowledge of tactics and transfers... the second season is a failure.

So the next sweet moments came in my last game in FM05 (just when it starts going so sweet I go and get FM09):

1st - Second season after getting Rushden promoted to League One, the team still works well and get a 7th place, one point from promotion playoff. Granted only two players were new, so most were the same high quality from the last season.

2nd - Then next season half the team has been bought and have to do major transfer market work. Still not worrying for the not-fundamental-marked stats from a tactic thread, I make players that have great tackling and jumping or passing or finishing or whatever... but invariably ****** (even some below 5) decisions. Team drops to relegation and penultimate position. At near half season they're 21st six points below salvation. I look through thread about attributes and then start to review players, spot terrible problem. I get a new DC, DR, AML and AMC with decent decisions (and AML and AMC tremendous dribbling, balance, acceleration and pace, right now only remember AML who was N'Zogbia), start to win matches, easily, even a 8-1 against a mid-low table team. And make a come back to end eleventh at something like 7 points from promotion playoffs (was 21 away when the comeback began).

3rd - After the season again lots of players gone and renew better the team, though this time I don't find replacements to my liking. Then, Wigan accepts my job petition and get to lead a Championship team... and get it second tied with first in points (and one ahead third): 87 pts.

The 3rd was the biggest. Then bought FM09 and am now first season with Wigan, chose as background prof. footballer to keep the national reputation I got (btw I got to find some editor to fill in the rest stats to be alike what I got in FM05 to make it as a continuation). Now I'm in preseason, won 4-1 to Tubize (complete domination, Tubize scored their only approach to goal) and 4-1 to Mons (own goal by Cattermole, though Mons had a few other chances). Then lost a 0-1 hard fought match against AC Milan, because Kapo headed a clearance from my defender back into a Milan player's foot who was alone. But I had more near chances to score than Milan (Milan had 2 or 3 counting the goal, I had 4 or 5), and I think that defeat was sweet as well, since I hoped a heavy defeat with my players performing like schoolgirls.

CM 03/04 winning the league with Everton in my second season (i got sacked in my 4th season because i came 5th)

CM 01/02 Winning the league with Carlislie (took about 10 seasons)

FM 2009 got Hartlepool to the UEFA cup then took the Chelsea job (who hadnt won a cup in 8 years) and won the CL in my first full season

winning my first ever trophy on fm 09 with yeovil (johnstone paint trophy) will always be close! cant beat feeling of first peice of success.

spot on mate no matter what i have doen that first bit of silver always brings back the memories, Winning my first trophy with manchester united, club world championship, first season, so happy, as it got me up and running

After 3 succesfull seasons in Wallsall ( Reached the EPL) decided to join fiorentina . Was a dissaster there and got sacked ( spent 80 milion on players and finished 10th in Serie A :/). So had an offer from catania which i accepted. First year 50 milion budged with lots of big names singings like iaquinta, cardoso, saviola etc and finished 4th . Next year was the proudest moment when i had only 10 milion for transfer and inter and juve bought my 2x (Cause my board though offers where too good to deny)Wonderkids regens .So i had to build a team with kaladge(35 yrs old) and beckham(38) on my starting eleven . Reached the CL finals and played vs Barca . 2 days before match day cardoso injured .Only replacement i had was Iaquinta (35 years and 1-2 months till he retires , with 5 appearence only the whole season). Put him and and won 3-2 with Iaquinta on fire 2x goals and 1x assist. Was really proud and happy after this win :D

Beating Newcastle (scum) in the FA cup Final with my Beloved Sunderland AFC to make things better both of my goals were scored by local lad in Leadbitter and Waghorn.

What just happened to me yesterday :) I took over Burnley in the second season, they had finished 20th in first season and were predicted 23rd for this season by the media. I got them into 6th position, and beat stoke in the play off final to be promoted :)

FM 09 - Signing Thee Diego for St Mirren on a free transfer.

Championship Manager 08 - Taking Albion Rovers [Scottish Third Division] to SPL winning the league and winning UEFA Cup never had the reputation to bring in players of Champions League Level :(

Mine was the most brilliant run of luck with Reading. It was fm2006. I started as Ireland and took over Reading who were second bottom of the championship in October.
Season 1: Came second in championship
Season 2: Came 6th in Prm won fa cup
Season 3: 4th in Prem semi-final uefa cup
season 4: 1st in Prem semi-final champions leauge

I say it was a run of luck because honestly I am not a very good fm player, I barely ever win anything. This was just a spectacular game where I randomly picked brilliant tactics or something. Oh and leroy lita scored over 20 goals every season.

Also won euro 2008 with Ireland, again just really random.

in my second year with newcastle dont know how i done it my tactics must of been spot on i won the barclays prem the uefa cup fa cup and the carling cup and i only signed yohann pele, oscar ustari, michael mancienne, diego lugano, daniel sturridge, and fernando llorente but the formula worked
