hi guys

as the title says "Where are the best places to put you players while defending free kicks"?

im going for a fulll man mark system. i know of one rule , that the free wall should have 4 players on it. can that also include support players?

I play a 4-1-2-2-1* or 4-2-3-1**

I'm sure there are better ways to set out players but this has served me well.

Free kicks/corners.*
Lb - left post/left post
Rb - right post/right post
Cb's - man mark/man mark
Anchor - man mark/man mark
Cm - wall/mark small
Cm - wall/go back or edge of area
Wng - wall/close down taker
Wng - wall/forward
Fc - forward/forward

Often wingers are shorter than forwards, so I guess you could swap them round and put the striker in the wall and keep the wingers forward, and tbh I don't think I can recall a single occasion where a fullback being on the post has prevented a goal (I've seen the ball seem to pass straight through the fullback on the post though) but for the sake of aesthetics I put them there anyway :p
