I am sure I read somewhere that you automatically retire after 50 seasons. I know I had a game (97/98) version, with Aberdeen where after my 25th season it automatically retired me!

ok thanks, i'm on a hull city game in 2016 at the moment so i'll just keep going on with that and see how long it lasts, i'm usually bored of games by now but this ones been very good

I think the game carrys on forever! I started at the age of 30 and im now in the year 2069! im 89 years old on the game and still going, its the only game iv played and its taken me since FM2010 came out in October 2009 to get this far.
