So where does Ramires factor into the advice and illustrations given? Does he not run form deep? Isn't he defence first for chelsea? There's no way this game could recreate what he does in real life.
I appreciate the Modric conundrum. He controls the game, knitting everything together and Van Der Vaart get's the goals, Bale the assists - that's real life.
Now, let's say I sell Van Der Vaart, play Modric in his role and put Moutinho in the Modric hole, I'd expect Modric to get a healthy return of goals, but it doesn't quite happen in FM12.
The other problem I have is that though people say this FM12 is more realistic in its number of assists and goals for CM's and AMC's, the same people fail to recognise that it's not right for a striker to play 40 games and get over 60 goals, while inside forwads get 80% of the assists and the other 30 goals between them. My experince so far is that it is far too reliant on indside forwards (wingers aren't affective) and poachers.
I still don't think it's unreasonable to expect a CM to get 10 assists and goals a year for a top team. Football shows they still exist. Lack of assists and goals aside, they're gona have to up their average ratings and reflect their importance, 6.96 ratings at the end of the season are just depressing.
