I always find this sort of thing a bit pointless. I think it was Mike who mentioned earlier that it's about the sum of the entire team. Sure there are always players like Torres, Drogba, Rooney, etc who are different class and would transfer to most teams. But what about the Darren Fletchers, Ji Sung Parks, Dirk Kuyts, etc?

For Aston Villa:

Arsenal - 3 - Cesc Fabregas, Andrey Arshavin, Samir Nasri. All would be great for Villa's creativity from midfield.
Birmingham City - 1 - Roger Johnson, hate to admit it but he's been a rock this season and Villa have leaked goals left, right and centre.
Blackburn - 0
Blackpool - 0
Bolton - 1 - Gary Cahill. I want him back.
Chelsea - 1 - Cech. Replacement for the ageing Friedel.
Everton - 2 - Tim Cahill and Jack Rodwell. Cahill is a great all rounder and Rodwell is a great future prospect.
Fulham - 0
Liverpool - 0. Fantastic potential in a lot of that squad but not working for me this season, any other season though and i'd take at least Gerrard and Torres.
Manchester United - 0 - Got a good squad but have a personal dislike for Man U.
Manchester City - 3 - James Milner, Carlos Tevez and David Silva. Never should of sold Milner, Tevez is a solid goalscorer and Silva is a fantastic player.
Newcastle United - 1 - Andy Carroll. Emile Heskey but stays fit and scores goals. And is better. In almost every way.
Stoke - 1 - Ryan Shawcross. Brilliant, young defender, Villa need a solid backline again.
Sunderland - 2 - Jordan Henderson and Darren Bent. Both are just great players.
Tottenham - 6 - Michael Dawson, Alan Hutton, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Rafael Van Der Vaart and Jermaine Defoe. All fantastic players. Hutton I think is one of the most underrated right backs playing today. I've always raved about Bale and now people know why. Modric and VDV are amazing in the midfield and some of the most creative players in the Prem and Defoe is a great goalscorer.
West Brom - 0
West Ham - 1 - Scott Parker. Would be a great holding midfielder for Villa, Petrov is old, Reo-Coker is doing a great job now though.
Wigan - 0
Wolves - 0

I'm aware I left out Cesc Fabregas, and that may seem odd, but I honestly wouldn't swap Modric for any other central midfielder/playmaker at the moment.

Some of these really made me laugh, you would take 3 Everton players including Tim Cahill, but only Drogba from Chelsea, No-one from United, and Only Bale, and as a squad player XD haha.

At Spurs, we had Berbatov and Keane as our partnership and it was one of the best in the league, Bent didnt get to play often, and with Bent he works best with the team built round him, as he is at Sunderland but that didn't happen at spurs, but I would love him back, he will score lots of goals, and always has.
