Which areas I need to improve?

First season with Spurs is very poor...it's not over yet, but I'm 7th for now and it's only 9 games till the end of season..I must fight for fifth place then..
I started looking who to buy for next season and I want to help me mates..
My first team is:
GK - Gomes
DR - Vedran Corluka
DL - Assou-Ekotto
DC - William Gallas
DC - Michael Dawson
MR - Aaron Lennon
MC - Tom Huddlestone
MC - Luka Modric
ML - Gareth Bale
AMC - Rafa Van der Vaart
ST - Jermain Defoe

I also have great players in sub:
- Lucas Barrios
- Niko Kranjcar
- Charlie Adam
- Steven Pienaar
- Phil Jones
- Ledley King
- Sandro
- Lucas (from Sao Paulo)

Let's say that I will have 30mil+ on start of second season... Who to buy? help

I'd probably say get a left-back like Tremoulinas or Jose Enrique, and get a right back too while you are at it. Someone like Srna would be good I suppose.

I know, but who to buy? Phil Jones has still 18 and maybe I need some better choice for Gallas replacement

Tremoulinas is in Aston Villa now, and I will see for Jose Enrique Srna is in Real

Go to Italy and see Fiorentina, Babacar its great, he can replace Defoe

david wheater is always a nice pick up at CB since gallas gets injured quite often (at least for me) and if you want a good defensive prospect you can snag jerome roussillon from sochaux for very cheap.
