I am in my first season at Chelsea and who should I buy with my 14 Million, and who should I sell?

This doesnt exactly answer your question but I'd sell everyone over 30 then see how much i got to renew the squad

I sold Alex for £14m on mine and brought in Subotic for £12.25m hes as good if not better than alex and is only 23, I also brought douglas costa for £8m to play in AM with Mata but depends on which formation your using

Either try to sell or loan players who you feel you need to move on to improve the squad, then use the money from their tranfers/freed up contract space to give yourself more money to buy players with.

As villadam said, if you can get Subotic for 12.25mil pounds (about 20-something million US), then he'd be a quality pickup for you.

If you need cheaper players though, I highly recommend Alvaro Dominguez from Athletico Madrid, I got him for $13.75mil US and he's been a solid first-teamer for my Arsenal squad.

Andre Ayew for $18mil US is one who I consider a great pickup, although his net-worth decreases to around 10mil after a year, his stats and play more than make up for it. His brother Jordan can be picked up for around $11mil US as well, although he'll need to be given extensive first-team or loan experience to realize his potential (since you have Lukaku you may as well not sign him I suppose).

If you need English players for Homegrown status purposes, Fabian Delph is a solid pickup for the midfield at $11million US from Aston Villa. Ryan Shawcross should he tagged for later transfer as he's fairly well-rounded and tall (6'5").

Yaya Sanogo can be bought for relatively cheap if you want a striker you can develop along with Lukaku (he's tall, 6'4", with solid physical attributes). Carlos Fierro as well but you should wait for a year or so to see if his price drops or you have enough money to get him.

Keep a close eye on Man City too as they have players who will seek to leave as they keep buying the rest of football to win something. Most obvious is Tevez, but he's a huge gamble as he's a drama-queen.

Also, scout Lornezo Cristeg from Inter, he's on a youth contract and has good enough potential to warrent a look-see on your reserves squad.

Well Chelsea desperately need an injection of youth and pace in the middle of the park. So I'll recommend Willian. He's cheap at the start of the game (about 7 mil pounds) and can go on to become a world class player. He's versatile you can play him in AMC/L/R or CM. And he's got oodles of pace that will start to give Chelsea back that dynamic edge.

Shaqiri is pretty decent, i managed to get him for around 9 mil for newcastle. James Tomkins is also a very good player, the stats dont indicate it, but he is very consistent and hardly get injured, he is one my best, if not the best centre back I have (considering that im challenging for the title)very good bang for buck imo. I think you could check out Sandro aswell, he becomes a very good player. You might also want to look at Jack Wilshere on my file Aresnal sold him for 1.8mil for some bizarre reason.

I would suggest picking up a mix of cheap youth and senior players. If you're looking for an attacking mid to shoulder Lampard's duty in the midfield, my personal favourite has been Gylfi Sigurðsson. Can be picked up from Hoffenheim for 9-10m quid. Played absolutely stunningly for me in his debut season and has been just as good for the past 3 seasons. If it's a versatile player who can play across the midfield anywhere, Willian from Shakhtar is another good choice. He can be picked up for around 8m. And one of my favourite defensive midfielders on the cheap are Andre Jali. He can be gotten for as little as less then a million.

As most of the players over 30 are in the last year of their contract, or have no re-sale value (you can't find players at their level for cheap) I'd hang on to the majority of them and let some leave for free the following season.

Sell - Alex £12/14m, Malouda £8m, Kalou (probably loan & release following year), Anelka £4/5m, Meireles £12m, Ferreira £450k

You could then look at Vrsjalko £1m (too good to pass up, though not a priority), Willian £7.5m, Badelj £4.1m, Douglas Costa £7.5-8m, M'Bengue £4.4m, Asamoah £11m (think it's the Udinese one, CM), Fernando £2.1m (Brazilian DM).

The above should provide a lot of options formation wise and add much needed quality youth.

Sell Anelka / Essien / Bosingwa and bring in Srna (RB) Marouane Fellani. You can get Srna for about 16 million and Fellani for about 20.

Essien is useless as after his injury his stats are horrible. Srna is a consistent rb and great at set pieces.

Do not sell Torres. He makes an incredible Advanced Forward. Depending on your chosen formation, Mata + Torres make a great partnership!

Im currently playing Torres as a poacher in a 4-3-1-2 formation and hes played 17 and scored 17 so i would defo not sell Torres
