The release of Football Manager is not too far away (yaaay!), for me that's not the only thing to get excited about. Three days after the release my high school life will be officially over, which means I will have nothing to do for the following four months. No school, no commitments, nothing. Just Football Manager!

So I was wondering which team to manager to keep interested for the long haul. Right now, I want to manage Portsmouth, and like usual start off with the Sunday league reputation and build my way up into eventually managing Chelsea, where I will aim to provide stability, promote youth etc. As for Portsmouth, I want to build the team similar to the West Ham team in the last 90s, when they were producing young talents such as Lampard, Cole and Ferdinand.

So what you guys think, would Portsmouth be an adequate choice? Or would it be better to manage another team (preferably England)?
