Swansea City Sign Man United Starlet

Swansea City F.C today announced the signing of Manchester United Starlet Davide Petrucci on four year deal

Manchester United reserve captain has agreed a 4 year deal with the Swans after both clubs agreed a fee of around £425k for the Italian midfielder. The Italian was delighted to sign for the club and stated that first team football was a key reason for the move.

“I am delighted to be signing for a club of Swanseas stature and was advised by Sir Alex that the move down to South Wales would be great for me as il be getting much needed first team action instead of biding my time at Manchester United”

Swansea manager wasted no time in adding in dipping into resources at the club bringing in his 1st signing in what could be a very busy summer at the club.

“We have purchased a lad with great potential and if we can nurture this young talent we could have a possible superstar on our hands for such a cheap price. He (Petrucci) has the chance to break into the first team but that depends on Sigi (Sigurdsson) and how he performs but the lad has to be patient but I can promise he will get his opportunity.”

With this the first signing of the summer it seems that it will be an intriguing summer for Swans fans.

Swansea City Fail to sign Sigurdson
Swansea reach agreement with Hoffenhiem for the possible transfer over on loan playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson but terms not agreed

Nothing official has come from the club but the latest reports coming from South Wales is that Swansea managed to agree a fee of around £10million over 48 months with Hoffenhiem in regards to the transfer of Gylfi Sigurdsson.

However its been widely reported that Sigurdson rejected Swansea’s advances in terms of a contract for the time being. A source close to the player quoted that even though Gylfi is happy at Swansea he wanted to make sure of there survival in the Premier League before signing a contract.

“Gylfi is delighted to be playing in the Premier League and with Swansea but feels he would rather wait and see if Swansea can achieve survival before he makes a decision. He also stated he wants to stay in the Premier League so its down to Swansea.”

Talks have been put on hold until possibly around Winter time when Swansea position might be much clearer.

So here I am, as requested.
Your layout is pretty nice, just increase the size of the player-photos.
While reading your story I started to get annoyed by you NEVER use the "," and sometimes forget the "." at the and of a sentence, you should watch that; it's unprofessional.
Also, if you finished writing a post; look if there are any spelling mistakes you might have made without you noticing at first sight.
“I am delighted to be signing for a club of Swansea's stature, and was advised by Sir Alex that the move down to South Wales would be great for me. I'll be getting much needed first team action, instead of biding my time at Manchester United.

But, besides that your layout is nice, and it's a nice beginning of a great story.

Don't take it as an insult or anything like that. I'm trying to give some constructive criticism. If you think I'm too harsh you should just note that, I'll try to be less harsh the next time in that case.

Will follow from now on, keep on giving constructive criticism if needed. :)

Swansea City Shine in Pre Season

They say a good pre season is good preparation for you having a good season, So judging by our pre season we should be crowned champions by Christmas? If only it was that easy eh! You could argue the fact that we didn't play exactly the greatest of teams but beating Sampdoria and AZ is no mean feat, Even though it may only be pre season it's brilliant. 7 clean sheets in 8 games will hopefully bode us well and now we prepare for the opening game of the season against Wolves.

Lets Talk Tactics!!!

Obviously this is a game and not real life so being realistic i probably wont get the tactics down to a tee or play exactly like how Swansea do, but my approach and tactics will hopefully replicate the way they play a bit. My aim is obviously to retain possession and pass my way through teams. So Fingers crossed.

Swansea City Win Opening Game

A solo goal by Nathan Dyer was enough to get the party started for the Swans in the Premier League. The game was a nervous affair and Swansea continued there pre season form with a vital win over Wolves who at times were played off the park. If Swansea are going to survive then home form is crucial, Especially against teams who could be dragged into the relegation fight aswell. The only goal of the game came from a header which was scored by the smallest man on the pitch, Just on the stroke of half time. A cross from Rangel down the right was nodded in at the back post by Dyer who out jumped his marker to put the ball past Hennesey.

Do more than 1 match per post, otherwise there is just no speed in your story.

Keep it up! ;)

Swansea City Hit by Triple Blow

Swansea City’s fight for survival takes a huge blow as captain Ashley Williams is hit by Injury and two players hit the club with Transfer requests

Swansea captian Ashley Williams will currently be out of action between 5-7 weeks with a back injury. The full extent of the injury hasn’t been diagnosed as of yet but the time of the injury couldn’t come at a worse time.

With the club expected to be relegated this season losing there star centre back is a huge blow.

“We can confirm Ashley Williams has been ruled out for around 7 weeks with a back injury. Losing him is a major blow and leaves us with a defensive crisis”

Barked manager Sean Parrish.

To add to the clubs problems Scott Dobie and Luke Moore have both handed in transfer requests due to lack of first team football.

Nothing official has been confirmed yet but Charlton are rumoured to have placed a loan bid for Dobie which Swansea have accepted.

Rumours are also coming from South Wales that a few clubs are interested in Moore but his wages could be a stumbling block.

Swans Flying High

Swansea City gain the plaudits for there attacking style after performing above expectations to sit in the top half of the Premier League 12 games in.

Some of the finest managers in English football have come out in recent months with full of praise for the way Swansea have adapted to the English Premier League. With 5 wins 4 draws and 3 defeats in there opening 12 games, They seem to be looking good for avoiding relegation which many pundits had called at the start of the season. Take in to consideration that the 3 defeats were against Spurs, Man City and QPR you could forgive them for losing atleast 2 of those teams but then QPR are also flying high in the league aswell. Draws against Newcastle and Liverpool are also not the result that you would exactly call shabby either.

Defeat against QPR was probably a low for Swansea at the moment despite conceding 5 against Man City, Swansea have also dished one or two hammerings themselves scoring 5 past West Brom and Norwich and putting 6 against Blackburn, Justifies all there recent praise.

"People had written us off before we even kicked a ball this year and we have shown that we have got what it takes to survive in the Premier League. We continued the great job Brendan had did and hopefully we can continue the rise and a top half finish would be a brilliant acheivement...Europe???? No chance"

Manager Sean Parrish was recently qouted in his match programme notes against the recent 1-1 draw with Everton.
