I think it would be helpful if you give the reason you wanted the parent/feeder club in the 1st place. Some feeder clubs are for Work Permits, Having 1st option etc... and parent clubs is for money and loan players, would probably help us more if we knew the reason for it.

Sorry to interrupt, I need a feeder club to get wp for non-EU players that I'm thinking to sign. They should become citizen as soon as possible, training facilities should be at least good and club should give my players plenty playing time. Any suggestions would welcome.

I believe Belgium is a good option along with Spain and Portugal but I'm not 100% certain and these aren't question I'm really able to answer personally I just saw the question and thought it may be a good idea to include the reason for it, have a look google mate, u should find the answer somewhere

I'm in season 2019/20 in my game. I have already acquired some brilliant regens from Utrecht and Genk, and they have some others that I am watching closely. Le Havre is twin-towned with Southampton (I went there on French-exchange), and is the club that Paul Pogba originated from (I think!). There have traditionally been strong links between The Saints and The Cherries over the years - there's not quite the same mutual animosity as with Pompey. In my save, Bournemouth have been yo-yoing between League 1 and the Championship, so it's a good place to send my own young players. Plus, I was born in Bournemouth, so they're kind of my second club.

Thought this page could use some colour! I have become quite fetishistic about football club badges since playing FM. Check out this guy's website - click on a badge to see it displayed in a large carousel: http://hdlogo.wordpress.com

Portugal is good place to send non-EU players. Benfica tend to buy a load of young Brazilians on the cheap and hope that a couple of them make it through their youth system. Then sell them on for a bigger fee, David Luiz and Ramires to Chelsea are two examples.

How do you sign a player who doesn't already qualify for a work permit in the UK? I tried to sign an American regen centre-back, whose potential is still listed as four-and-a-half stars. He was actually a free agent, bizarrely, so we agreed personal terms only for him to be denied the paperwork. He's now at Philadelphia Union in the MLS.

I know the idea is that you loan them to another EU club where the qualification criteria are not so stringent - but if you can't sign him in the first place, how can you then loan him out?

You need a pre-arranged feeder club in an EU nation, ask your board

Oh, I see. So presumably you get the option during the transfer/contract negotiations to state that you will loan him to that EU based feeder club before he makes his way to your own club. That makes sense. I've never seen that option because I've only used feeder clubs in the English lower leagues before, so I will try to make this happen in my ongoing game. Thanks, thefwf.

When I bought a promising regen centre-back, called Roel Rutten, from Genk, whose currently ability was three stars compared to potential of four-and-a-half, I loaned him back to them for a full season while my Mexican defender, Hector Moreno, saw out the last year of his contract. By the time Rutten joined us, he was a genuine 4 star player and slotted in seamlessly.

Is this correct? I have never seen this option in my transfers, anyone had actually done this ?
