Why am i doing so bad?

Hi all, fairly new to FM, but I believe ive got a pretty strong side, having a terrible season so far, playing them with counter and fairly fluid as my tactics, dzeko target man and i partner him with cardozo or gabby.

Third season and im sitting currently at 16th with 2 wins 2 draws 4 losses.

Anyone shed any light on why im facing these problems ?

dont play with counter, try attacking instead?
have one striker (Dzeko) as a target man (SUPPORT) instead of attack and gabby as poacher (attack)
have one CB as a stopper for if someone breaks past Khedira?

gabby - poacher

re train khedira to CDM and play a diamond so it more stable

plus attack normally rather than counter attack
