Why aren't loan players at Portsmouth?

So recently Portsmouth signed Scott Allan and George Thorne on loan, I think the deal was one month or something short like that. My question is why aren't these players at Portsmouth in the recent update? The deals were completed a long time before the update was released so its not as if there wasn't time to incorporate the deals into the update. Anybody know why?

Short term \ emergency loans aren't included in the winter update as that would mean the loaning team would have them for the full season on FM, and not just for the short term loan as in real life

Thanks for that, I'd have thought there was some way they could set it so they join on the date they joined in RL and only for the amount of time agreed but I guess not.

I also noticed with portsmouth that sam magri is long term injured even though he's been playing academy games and had a trial at liverpool last month
