Why can't I load FM?

When I install FM by disc it don't allow me to load up after its installed.

Any ideas?

1) what is it saying/doing?
2) try unistalling it and reinstalling it
3) disc being original game disc? have you patched it with any updates?

I've let my dad use my steam account so he can play FM as he can't download updates etc.. I installed the disc several times and it won't even load-up -_-

Are you getting any error messages? Anything? Out of the little info you've provided, ALOT of things could be wrong.

I've let my Dad use my steam account because he couldn't download the patches. I've installed it many times and still have the problem, will I need to delete anything? I ain't getting any messages. I just don't have a desktop/start menu icon to launch it.
