Why can't I loan?

Hi, I just started a new game as Panathinaikos and on the screen where you either offer to buy/loan/enquire/trial a player I can never click on the loan part it is always blanked out... Sorry if it is ovbious I just started playing FM. Thanks.

Perhaps the player(s) in question have been marked as 'Not available for loan'.

Hmm, I had the same problem, I think it's because you're abroad, and the season finishes at different times, I'm not sure. Wait for someone with more knowledge to post. Sorry if I didn't help

are you sure the loan market is open? also you may have exceeded your allowance of loans perhaps?

Ahh, I started in June (Greece) So I have to wait till July when the English transfer market opens lol. Thanks for the help

Check the time of year, if its before July 1st, then thats your problem!
