Why do I continue to lose money?

I'm playing as AFC Telford United in the Blue Square North and my club just leaks money to the tune of 20,000 quid a month. I have have even cut my squad numbers and am now 250 quid under the wage budget yet I am losing so much money. At this rate the team will be in the red by seasons end.

Is it normal for clubs at this level to lose so much so quickly? This is my first game on FM11 using a lower league team.

I'm not an expert on finances within FM, but even teams who are under there wage bill will lose money. The only way I reccomend staying out of debt is keeping under that wage-bill. Don't use installments, and try and win in Cup Matches- That way you get prize-money, and a lucrative home tie against a big side will bring in revenue. In the Pre-Season, arrange home matches against big teams, that will bring in gate revenue helping your club out.

1) is the club in debt (check information screen)
2) you are most probably paying off a loan the borad took
