Why is my game performance less than 1 star?

OK so i've played a few games on fm2012 all of which I've been able to have England, France, Germany, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, Australia, Turkey, Belgium, Holland, Russia, Scotland, Poland and Portugal all down to the lowest leagues and my performance has been one star.

I try starting a new game with the new update and I can't even have the EPL loaded without it being half a star. Any idea whats wrong or what I can do to fix this?

could just be a bug, does the game still run fine with those leagues loaded?

It's really odd because I quit the game and re-loaded it to see if it made a difference. In the end after about a day I can run the same leagues as before with a 1 star rating so I guess it must just be a small bug that resolves itself after a while.
