My QPR team isn't doing too badly we were 9th last season and are 11th this season. The things is my team doesn't score any where near enough goals, if we win we only do so 1-0, we've only scored more than one goal three times this season (out of 15 so far). I've tried attacking 4-4-2, normal 4-4-2 with counter attack, 4-1-2-2-1 (Mourinho), Use Playmaker, Target man etc etc no matter what I do we just never score, even when I go all out attack.

I've got some really decent players and I think we'd be pushing for promotion if we scored more.

Any ideas?

If your forwards and creative midfielders are good enough then it must be the tactic. Druggan recently uploaded a few I suggest you take a look at them.

Stop changing tactics would be my first advice :D It takes time for a team to get used to a mentality system/style of play - so constantly chopping and changing is going to mess them about :)

Sit yourself down for a couple of hours and watch a match on full with the tactical set you want to use. What's going wrong in the final third? Is it that your strikers aren't getting the ball? Are you creating lots of chances but your strikers aren't putting them away? Without more detailed information, it's very, very hard to figure out what's going wrong :)

Chances are they are marking your strikers out of the game , its very good at doing this . I switch players positions around during the match , i play 4 attacking midfielders and drop one of them into the hole were they will not be picked up. You can score more goals if you pay close attention to set piece moves, i get 30 goals a season or more from corners and maybe 15 from direct free kicks atm. Also you need to alter things like crossing during the game , sometimes you wont get any in so come inside etc.
