Why no 1 practically makes 4-3-1-2 or 4-1-2-1-2 tactics?

There are a few but as the key to winning most of the time is crosses and wide play with this ME, there are few that dont rely on width this year.

Create your own then? It's very easy to create a decent 4-3-1-2 or even diamond. A key part will be to get the AM role to properly link the midfield with the attack and make sure that you don't have midfielders (since there are 4, central) occupying the same space.

I've been working on one constantly tweaking it for 2 seasons now with Everton. First season just clinched 4th, second season am struggling but just hitting form again. It is do-able, just create your own, wipe out basically all instructions, set your mentality to standard and your shape to fluid/very fluid, as in most cases you want your full backs overlapping and your attacks not to be too predictable.
