Why so slow?

I've got a career with the top four English leagues, and three other European leagues loaded, running on a good spec iMac, but it seems to make about ten minutes just to skip through a few days.

Anyone having similar issues with speed / performance? I did read that part of the transition from Beta to the final version would be improvements to the performance.

Very tempting to bash your little iMac here, but I'll control myself

I've seen reports on the SI forum of people experiencing very slow progressing between matches with Macs. Only explanation given is optimalization issues, so for now I don't think there's much to be done about it. You could post on the SI forum and explain your situation, but like I said I've seen others reporting the exact same thing.
