2) Why would you not use a target man?

Also, if you can help, what is best for a really good Chelsea team that consists of the likes of Dinho and Messi:

3 - Short or Direct Passing?

4 - Wide or Narrow play?

5 - Creative freedom high?

oh and also why would you not use tight marking?

1) Because you have many good players able to create fine plays, and don´t need to concentrate the game in just one of them; or, because you don´t have any player that is sufficiently creative to receive the responsability of playmaking;

2) Because you don´t have a tall and strong striker; or, because you have good, fast, lightning strikers or forwards;

3), 4), 5) It really depends ...
