Wide Midfielders

Playing as Huddersfield battling for survival, playing a 4-1-4-1 defensive formation.

Need to sign some Wide Midfielders as Hudds only have inside forwards/wingers.

Struggling to find any on the market, any ideas?

(Feel free to advise any signings for lower league teams aswell)

Xadas, Man, Antonio Marin.

You probably wont' find much better than Xadas in terms of overall contribution. Doesn't have outstanding defensive skills but better than most wingers, and he is very creative plus can score. Most actually wingers will have a focus on the more attacking skills.

Argentina has a few true wide midfielders. Can't recall names off hand, but troll through the squads of the bigger clubs like Boca, River Plate, etc. Won't be inexpensive if they are at a bigger club, though.

In the past, when I wanted a truly rounded or even defensive wide mid, I've typically resorted to finding a good central mid and retraining them. There are more of them to pick through.
