Wierd transfer clause

So I manage Bury, quite a few seasons in now, I have Ben Sheaf, who has developed into a very good CB and my captain in our third premier league season. I originally loaned him from Arsenal two seasons in a row, then signed him on a free transfer. Now I am constantly paying 150k to West Ham, who were his club before Arsenal. It seems every 15 and 30 league appearances I am paying!! Is this a glitch???

Its definitely not a glitch because I manage West Ham in 2030 and still get fee's every so often

Apologies if you have already tried this, but go to Transfers, then click on Clauses and see if there's anything in there about paying a fee to West Ham.
