Windowed mode

I don't really know if this counts as a call for technical help because I don't know the reason for this, but I can't seem to be able to play the game in windowed mode. It's written in gray color and I can't select it. Can anyone please tell me why is this and how could I fix it?

try selecting it on properties, by right clicking the fm12 icon, before loading the game.

I can't seem to find it. In Properties/Shortcut/Run I only have the options Normal, Minimized and Maximized and I can't find another option that would help me with it. Does this problem have anything to do with the fact that I'm using Windows Xp? Or is it something else?

Press alt and return at the same time when in game.

I always play fm in windowed mode. and im on windows vista. not sure if its the problem of the OS or something else.

anyways try this then.
Go to : preferences > display & sound > display mode > and on the drop down menu select 'Windowed'.
