its only worth getting if you have like 2 gigs worth of ram, otherwise all it will do is make your computer look good and run slow

Looks OK but Microsoft are taking far too much notice of their competitors. WMP is a **** poor rip-off of i-Tunes for starters, and those screenshots look a lot like a Mac.
I wouldnt touch Vista for a while yet anyway. Remember how long XP took to be reliably stable?

Yea xp is goiing a good job for me and i think im going to wait a few years when they have it sorted and im ready for a new pc

I have Windows Vista Business installed but I can't really use it yet as there are no drivers for my linksys wireless network card :mad:

Apart from that it seems nice and flashy. You can switch to a 'windows 98' style theme if you dont want to use all your ram on just the OS itself.

Lol......How comes he has everyting as soon as it comes out...He had FM 07 before it even came out....i wanted it!! :(!!

I get it for free from my university as well...which is always nice. I definately wouldn't have it yet if I had to pay!

Wish ours was, instead it specialises in Technology (when teachers are *****) and sports, when the equipments ***** too.

I work at a school as a techie and they still use 2000 cause its more stable on there network. I also know someone who beta tested both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions of vista and he said wait a year till its more stable.
