I'm managing Arsenal and have just taken over the England job too. I have a player in my Arsenal team who is 20. He has 10 goals from 10 caps for England already but now I've taken over the England job I can't call him up to the England squad. When I go to the national pool he has an icon next to him that says withdrawn from international duty. I don't understand why. I haven't withdrawn him as club manager. Has he withdrawn himself? Does he intend to come back to international duty? If not why wouldn't he retire from international duty? Has anyone got any ideas? I'd like to be able to have a chat with him and try and persuade him but I can't.
