So i put a second string out against Hertha Berlin as the game was sandwiched between two huge matches against Monaco and Bayern in the Cups but i guess the sacrifice was worth it as we beat Bayern to make yet another German Cup Final and then ended the league season with a win against Hoffenheim.

I let go 5 players for well over £100 Million as it was a bit make or break for them last year and they just didnt get the game time.
Sehularo came in from Arsenal on a free transfer and was loaned back to them so was a huge profit for us as we sold him back to them for £26.5Million as he failed to push Draxler out of the team.
Centre back Sue left for Man City for around the same money i signed him from Bayern Munich for, he just didnt play enough for my liking last season and was too far down the pecking order to justify his wages.
Azvedo one of the players my Head of Youth signed moved on for a nominal fee before Arsenal signed one of our youth products Jan Van Dijk who i really thought was going to make it with us at one point but after only playing 3 times for us a couple seasons back he went on loan to prove himself at Napoli and managed a meager 6 goals in 45 games.
Ross Barkley was someone i would have liked to have kept but Man City offered close to £30Million for him and i had to let him go for that sort of money as we will make a profit on him and hes rarely playing at the moment as he doesnt fit into the two striker tactic.

Just the three players the first a young English defender who can play left and right back who is more for cover than the first team.

I'm the one of those too. But if you're getting bored of this save and want to write a new story, i wouldn't mind reading about journeyman save. It should be fun for you to play and for us to read about your adventures...

thanks mate i expect i will flitter between this and any new save, im going to go back and check out my Limerick save too today, ive got so many screenshots ready i really need to get into updating mode today

Thanks mate going to try and push out some updates today for this, Limerick and the new PSG save and see what i feel about all the stories and what to continue you with, I did a journeyman save as one of my first saves on here so could always move back to that at some point too.

In a terrible bore draw where literally every attacking player had a terrible game we came up trumps in the lottery that is penalties and secured our first trophy of the new season

We hammered them to no avail as we squandered chance after chance whilst their Captain Luis Suarez had a mare of a time. We took it to extra time where Atienza took it up a notch and secured his hattrick and our second trophy of the season.

Im going to call that 6 wins in a row as we won the Bayern game on penalties and its really been a case of Deja Vu so far this season with the AA coming to our rescue many a time with Atienza and Abdi in fine form.

Record Attendance Broken Again As We Close In On 50,000

So we smashed 4 past Bayern but drew with Dortmund in the league whilst our defence of our Champions League started well with 2 wins in the group stages under our belts.
We also won in the German Cup and beat Leverkusen comfortably in the league with Atienza scoring 6 goals in the first 4 games of the month.
