I brought Sturridge in on loan - done great first part of the season then fell away and was missing everything. But he certainly boost morale when I brought him in. I also signed Darwin Quintero from Santos Laguna for little over £3M and he's been a star - he won Young Player of the Year. From what I remember I think his stats were OK but nothing to write home about but with first team football they shot right up. The other signings I made played well but none really stand out. In our first season we managed to get 3rd place although we were 2nd for most of it - was never catching Man U though who won their first 12 games scoring 44 goals and conceding only 2. The season pretty much continued on the same pattern. Im now looking for a keeper though, Hennesey seems to be slipping up too much.
