he made a **** up of a rare start to his real madrid playin carrer,

scored an own goal in the 25th minute

booked in the 45th minute

sent off in 66th minute

Bute madrid beat bilbao 3-1 with goals from robinho, and raul 2
 
:D He didnt deserve to be sent off, Wasnt even a foul if you ask me. Half the Real fans dont't know who he is either.
 
Nice debut for him bet hes pig sick about getting sent off and scoring an own goal :eek:
 
Its a shame really but at least they won because if he was responsible for a loss which left them in the relegation zone and 2 points behind Barca that would be worse.

Real looked better with 10-men, maybe luxemborgo has found a new formation using ten men!
 
What a time to shine and he does this! He looked slow and even if it wasnt a sending off, he looked out of place. I cant seeing him starting regularly, spesh, after that performance.
 
Be fair Jamie, i dont like him and am especially pleased that he had such a poor debut, but he hasn't played competitive football in like a year and a half!
 
Yeah but he has been fit for 2 months. Admittedly he has been thorwn in at the deep end, playing a full game, but he did play a few reserve games too.
 
No i just think he needs two or three more games to get to his full self then I'm sure he will be a success. Pity he can't play against Alaves because that would be a great team to get match practise against because even since they drew with Barca they are not the greatest of sides.
 
i have always liked him/ I think he can be world class if he can stay fit.
 
yeah,but what an unlucky debut! Sendin off was naff,he looked horrified!
 
Also Real kept a clean sheet tonite with Ramos and Helguera in defence. Real Won 3-0 away to Alaves tonight :)
 
Now it will be even harder for Woody to get into the defensive partnership, that is a very good result for Real, who have been struggling recently.
 
Ye we should beat Olympiacos tommorow and Zidane may be on the bench.
 
Atleast the Real fans gave him a standing ovation and applauded him. I think they know he has had a very hard year since he moved from the mighty Toon. I think it was just abit more of bad luck for Woody, but I think things can only get better. :D
 
Ramos was sent off tonight because an olypiakos player tripped on his leg. So Woodgate could get a start in the champions league.
 
Ramos has been sent off in his last 2 games now :D
 
He has been sent off before though for Real.
 
Woodgate came on as a sub tonight but had nothing to do, Result, Madrid 4-0 Mallorca, Beckham with 3 assists.
