My apologies if this has been asked elsewhere, had a look couldnt see a thread.

Is anyone getting or know how to reduced the amount of times a team hits the woodwork?

My Santos team is getting 3-5 a game regardless of the player shooting? Places shots training for the entire squad? or is it an FM wide thing?

Slow down the tempo slighlty, increase a bit more time wasting to give your players time on the ball. More importantly though, take the pressure off your players, the main reason for poor finishing is either a lack of quality, or a bad mindset!
