Rookie German Takes Charge!!

Today the Togolese Football Federation presented their new manager.
His name is Ahmed Kannan who was a former flair player that spent his 17 years of
football within the grounds of Camp Nou
The Togolese FA are pleased to present Kannan and hope he brings Honors to Togo

I was appointed in Dec 2011 so i didn't have any time for experiments but my goal was to win the African Cup of nations 2012
---------------------------------------------------
Tactics speaking i preferred a counter-attacking game..
---------------------------------------------------
i always prefer attacking football and possession based but Counter-Attacking is my 2nd Favorite and it looks like this.

Of course is started looking at the National Pool to decide my squad mainly for the AFCON 2012...

and without the injured players it looks like this

and i looked at the Teams depth chart and it looked quite brilliant..!!!!

obviously our strength is in attack with Adebayor.Ayite and Gakpe..

first thing i noticed before this screenie is that Adebayor retired internationally so i had a private chat with the lad and got him back..

Our best player by far

Complete Demolition Job!!
Despite playing Counter we completely dominated possession and shots
and the result is comforting cuz it was against a team rated higher than us

Next up is the opening of AFCON 2012 against Cameroon

Our first match of the AFCON 2012

Obviously a horrible start to the campaign
but the good thing is that we weren't completely dominated!!
next up is TUNISIA

Great result against central Africa rep and bad luck against Cameroon keep up the good work!

Our next match was against a tournament fav
Tunisia

A wonderful win for us
keeping our chances of making the quarter final alive
we had possession unexpectedly but they had more shots on goal
..
next up is our toughest challenge..the Holders EGYPT
